Beginner Horse Clinic

Service Description

Saturday March 22nd at 10am. A 3-4 hour course that is a great way to introduce yourself to beginner horsemanship and to go over the preparation for riding lessons, both hands-on and with horses, in classroom and workbook. At the course we will go over: Safety & Etiquette, Horse body Language, Catching and Leading, Parts of the Horse & grooming, Tack and Tacking up. We start in class with safety and then head out to work with horses for the rest of the time. The only thing you won't do in this class is ride a horse. This course is designed to introduce you to horses, horse safety and proper horsemanship. After this course you will also be ready to start lessons at Sweet Talk Stables.
