Sweet Talk Stables headed south in February-March and came out on top!
Serenity and Shaelynn took Lady Jubilee, Princessa and Delilah V to some top placings. Week 1 was a warm up week but Shaelynn and Lady Jubilee managed a 5th place finish in the 1.35m welcome steak against a competitive group of people then finished the week off in their first 1.45m together with a top 12 finish. Their first show back together after taking a break for a baby! Serenity and Princessa stepped into some 1.45m Jr/Am classes with some clear rounds and Delilah had some nice rounds in the 1.15m.
Week 2 Shaelynn and Lady Jubilee took a second place finish in the 1.30m Classic by less than half a millisecond, followed by the win in the $15000 open stake and attempting their first 1.50m track with a top 10 finish by the end of the week in the $50000 Grand Prix.
Serenity and Princessa continued working on their 1.40/45 to also take a try at their first 1.50m Grand Prix. Respectably just finishing ahead of Shaelynn and Lady Jubilee.
Week 3 Sweet Talk, Garret Equestrian and Ridge View made up the competition in Arizona having all Canadian Prix's. Shaelynn and Lady Jubilee were 2nd in the welcome steak and 1st in the grand Prix. Serenity and Princessa finished top 5 in the stake and grand prix as well! Serenity then went to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 1.20 jr/am Classic!
Overall a great time had by all and we are ready for the summer in Canada!
