Hunter Jumper is the style of riding where horses are ridden English style over obstacles called fences or jumps. Hunters show over simplified courses to mimic traditional hunting field obstacles. The judging is subjective. Jumpers ride over technically difficult courses that twist and turn. The judging is objective, mathematically based and timed.
